Mor Linn Farm is a hunter/jumper barn in Walpole, MA owned by Cormac and Catherine Kennedy.
Cormac Kennedy was born in Ireland and grew up on his family farm, Kennedy’s Equine Centre, in County Kerry. Before moving to Boston, Cormac managed the family’s stud farm where he bred, trained, competed and sold their competition horses. Cormac and Catherine met in Ireland and moved to the Boston area in 2002 to start their own horse business. Since then Cormac has imported and sold Irish and European Sport Horses that have gone on to win classes from Lake Placid, NY to Wellington, FL. When not competing himself, Cormac has owned horses that have shown with some of the top riders in the country including Candice King, Bill Lowry and Kevin Babbington. Cormac also enjoys working with clients whose horses need the help of a strong and knowledgeable rider to overcome obstacles in their training.
Both Cormac and Catherine are licensed riding instructors and a riding school for students of all ages operates on Mor Linn Farm year round. From late June through August, summer camps are offered for children ages 6 to 12. Catherine runs the summer camps and children’s riding program. She has ridden and worked with horses for over 20 years and has been a riding instructor for the past nine. In addition to teaching lessons and riding her own horses, Catherine is a member of the Norfolk Hunt Club and enjoys riding with the hunt in the spring and fall.
